Showjumping on Horse & Country TV – October 2010

Horse & Country TV (SKY 280) will be showing highlights from the Cushionbed British Showjumping Scope Festival on Saturday 30th October at 9pm. The programme showcases some of the UK’s finest talent battling it out in front of packed audiences for big prize money.

Fantastic viewing for showjumping fans, this includes highlights of the Bilton Ward Developments Midget & Mighty Masters Relay, where pairs of riders (one pony rider and one senior rider) must jump a course of fences which are 90cm/1m high with the senior riders jumping 1.20m, as well as the Geoffrey Robinson Dunglenn 148cm Championship, open to JA ponies.

The Cushionbed National Championship has a total prize fund of £33,000 and viewers will be able to watch the horses that qualified from two preliminary rounds. The height these combinations had to jump in the first round was 1.45m, increasing for the jump offs, with thrills and spills unfolding.
