Small is Beautiful!

The world’s smallest horse was born recently weighing 6 pounds!
Little Einstein weighs just 6 pounds and is 14 inches tall.  He is a half pinto stallion, born April 22, 2010 in Barnstead, New Hampshire.

Breeder Judy Smith of Tiz A Miniature Horse Farm says, “I have been at this for 20 years plus but I have never seen one this tiny or even close to it.”

Einstein may be the newest record holder for the title of World’s Smallest Horse.
“You can’t help but just smile and fall in love with him,” one of Einstein’s owners, Dr. Rachel Wagner, tells the Associated Press. When tiny Einstein was born, the breeder believed he might be dead.  “We started rubbing him with a towel and he started moving around,” Smith tells the AP.

When local resident Charlie Cantrell found out that Smith planned to sell the teeny newborn horse, he purchased the tiny stallion for his wife. The couple have already submitted an application to Guinness World Records to establish Einstein as the world’s smallest horse, reports KGMI News.
The current record-holder of the World’s Smallest horse is Thumbelina, who stands at 17 inches tall.
